They are expensive but hold their retail so well. You could buy a used fat boy, ride it for three years , and sell it for almost what you paid for it.

I hate buell's they are the adult version of the taco mini bike built in the 70's.. you feel ever little thing, you have to keep your body weight over the front end to keep the wheel down. you never really have a comfortable ride.. best thing you can do is take the engine out and put it into another bike

Re: bikes we have owned over the years

These are my last 2 bikes I have owned. I am motorcycle-less right now.

I do not have the $$$ to buy another in the near future unless it is pretty cheap. been thinking super-moto. not much power but light and nimble, handles great and just a fun bike to ride.

Got pics of my old harley i bought brand new in 89' but they are in a mountain of old photos along with my first bike. a kawi KE250 enduro.

and my fav bike i ever owned, a 84' GPZ750. (non turbo)

when i get some time i will try to find them and scan them

He wants a motorcycle so bad. he can barely drive a car right now so i think that is a bad idea HAHA

R6 was a great bike for riding fast but sucked at everything else. uncomfortable aggressive ergos. no low end. tires would slip until warm (hard to do commuting on a cold day in traffic)

would love to have it as a track bike and have the other as a commuter

first bike was a honda vlx 600, then an 03 gsxr 1000, then vtx 1800, currently on a gsxr 750. loved em all.

Eventually, if there isn't deep integrity and fundamental character strength, the challenges of life will cause true motives to surface and human relationship failure will replace short-term success.

There is an idea of who I am: some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel my flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.
