never been there went to costa rica a few yrs back..

once you were in the resort it was great.. the towns were nasty as shit there.. guess nobody told them to pickup trash.

I would bet domican is the same way the resort places are real nice. went on a cruise last yr to the Bahamas wont go again.

so friends just got back from aruba they said it was nice...

yes, it was awesome. dont have anything to compare it to but loved it so hard.

good choice we were in punta cana. i went to the hard rock and it is really nice. don't get freaked as you travel in and see alleys full of garbage. once you get on the grounds it is awesome. bring your own snorkel and mask. i had to use one of the ones from the resort. i went and got a shot of rum and scrubbed it before use. it was still gross. there was a reef right there off the beach and tons of cool fish. i took my cheap, $39 emerson sports cam which is waterproof. not great pics but decent
