as silk. almost no bite. i kind of like some bite though. i tried it with and without distilled water. i like it neat best. i seem to get more flavor. i am no expert for sure

MM glenlivit is good. scotch is like beer. so many flavors and varieties.

just started getting into scotch, and i mean that literally, bought my first bottle several weeks back, cant think of the name but the guy at specs recommended it for a first timer. i like whiskey, but my palate isnt as extensive as it is with wine. i recently tried woodford reserve which is nice and caramelly, and wild turkey spiced whiskey which was pretty nice. dam, just typing this up got my mouth watering, im actually gonna go poor me a glass of that spiced whiskey right after i click that "post quick reply" button.

haha. i hear ya. there are tons of great local distillers making incredible products now all across the USA. we now have a vodka, bourbon and beer distiller here in my town. love it. forces the big boys to drop their prices and a lot of times you find real jewels of a liquor.
