    i have loose .22 rounds i have had since i was 12 so about 32 years and i didn't think they would fire but every one of them did.

    also got some old shotgun shells i found in the attic from when we moved 10 years ago and they fired. it gets over 120 degrees in the attic too

      It is a wonder some did not fire by themselves. My friend had some shotgun shells that fell in his back seat of his car. He forgot about them till 1 fired by itself from heat

        probably was not the heat. the primer probably struck something under the seat. Mythbusters did a show with that in it. they could not get them to go off without putting them in an oven and heating them up to a temp that would ignite the interior of the car. gunpowder is actually pretty safe. and it takes a good shock or extreme heat to set it off.

          ammo still exensive and hard to find here in Nj. in fact and at Dicks, people line up on Wed and Fri when they get deliverys

          what do you think about re-loads. i ahd bought some and it shoots ok, just dirty

            Went to gander the other day. Got 350 9mm plink rounds for 119.99. They where stocked up on everything except 22lr
            I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!

              reloads are ok if done correctly.
              I used to reload but would check brass after tumbling in walnou shells to clean them. You can get by reloading about 3 or 4 times. Make sure they resize brass correctly or you might get to much or to little head pressure
