You must have been squatting, or deadlifting and used bad form???

QL area injuries can be real tricky to work with and asses. I am just taking a wild guess according to your pain descripion.

      I suggest Active Release Theraphy.

A few 1 hour sessions will have you back on your feet quick and effective.

I am sure you are a resourceful kinda guy. Go get a sports specialist physio, ART specialist.

If it was spinal cord related, perpahs a herniated disk? Not sure what your history is in that area.

I work a lot with rehap clients. I am not a doctor by no means either.

I hope you get better soon bro, this kind of pain is never easy to deal with. And lalways takes the enjoyment out of life.

It is the QL area. Fuzo has hip impingement , in both hips, as I did , and I believe it is stemming from that in addition to his back issues

Then HE always has that small tight knot-like feeling top of the left or right lumbar area.

Anything like twisting, bending, extension of the back, squatting, pulling or pushing may cause the pain to trigger.

I bet you even when he may be bench pressing, stabillizers will kick in and cause QL discomfort.

Then yes baby 45-60.00 and hour with an ART will help tremendously.

Also getting to stretch A LOT, his piryformis--T.F.L., hamstrings, hips.

IF HE HAS sublexations, than for sure baby there is a bunch of real bad things happening at the same time, and everyone is compensating at right time, with the wrong muscles.

This is horrible situation to be in for sure. No wonder he is grumpy lately

        hope he gets well soon!!

Many trigger ponts seem to develop in that area. We really do not have any ART peeps near here but a therapist who does good trigger point massage. always help me. He has a nard time maneuvering the foam roller but a ball would those areas well, especiallt the tfL!!! MIne used to be a pain that hurt so good when released. I will try to dig my elbow in that area later and some of the other areas. We went on a paddle boat last weekend and since then we both were hurtin, lol.

          Thanks!

take a hot bath to loosen the torqued muscles then either have your honey massage it or go to a local massage school. we have one that does an hour massage for $30.

that's what i do my friend.

No squatting or Deadlifting dont do either. My legs are all machines and dont do deads. My broke ass can just wake up and my back can go out.Ive taken a shower and bent over to pick up the soap and it went out.But this was from me and the family renting a paddle boat and we paddled and the next morning Im hurting. Then a few days later my right upper sede went. Its age, heavy lifting for years, and bad disks. Rest always does the trick. But ive also noticed when I get up in the 260's weight range I feel my body cant take it.I can lift heavy but my body doesnt react to it very well.If I go down to 220 then I would feel better. But we are all glutten for punishment
