I agree with your wife brother.Why chance it? Missing one day isnt going to do any harm to your childs learning so no big deal.As the others have stated,someone comes in with the intent on killing others,no drill that they practiced is really going to matter at that point as time has proven.Especially with little kids.

IMHO,the best solution is the one that Dzone stated,train and arm teachers with guns and kill any fuk that comes in to hurt others!!!!!!!!! Another great idea is to hire retired Vets and policeman to be armed guards in the schools.Puts them back into the work force,which helps them greatly and also solves problems such as this as well as many others in schools.Having armed guards on premises would also deter gang fights,drug dealing,de-facing school property,etc.

i wouldn't have sent my kids either.. its a sad world we live in that we have to do this..

I agree with dzone you think these dumb asses care about your rights? I know last yr when ohbam won the election last yr they had him on the tv so the kids could listen to his speeches.. if you didn't want your kids in the room when these were playing you had to call the school I called bright and early..

I think fist's idea is a great one put retire vets in there with guns...
