He told me he was scared they were going to pass the ban on assault weapons and he wanted to get rid of the one he had. I asked what it was. He said a black one with a scope.
i was thinking AR15! so i casually asked how much. he said he would trade it for a gun that would be legal after a potential ban. I told him i had a savage .22 semi auto which was fun and cheap to shoot. he said come on over. When i arrived he handed me a gun sleeve and i handed him mine.
it was a hi-point 9mm carbine and 2 mags 1-10 and 1-15! its no AR15 but its still got a cool factor and will be fun to shoot. its got a $40 BSA red dot on it to boot.
they are going for $400 at the gun shows right now if you can find them. buds had them for about $300 before all went nuts. I only paid $100 for the .22.
