  • Rescue dogs

Out of the blue we decided to take the kids and corgi to the local spca. Ended up coming home with a chow/lab mix. This is where it gets crazy, we used to have a chow mix growing up almost exactly like this, but all brown.

She is 3 years old and was begging to come home with us. Nothing feels better than giving a dog a second chance.

Awesome man! We rescued our Dane as well. After researching and seeing how many good dogs end up in shelters because of scum owners, along with back yard breeders, I will never buy another dog again. Rescue!

This dog had three owners, two from the shelter, and both brought her back. Stupid ass people said she wasn't eating after a week and was picky. No shit, she's been in dog jail for months. First day and she is eating, wagging her tail, sleeping soundly. Holy shit I hope they don't have kids. My son is picky eating nuggets, rice, and quesadillas all day. Imagine just giving him up because he was picky.
Shes in a better home now.

Exactly, some people think they want a dog, but don't fully understand the responsibilities of owning one. First time a dog poops on the carpet, taking it back. barking to much, taking it back. Doesnt listen, taking it back. Teach him ow you want him to act, dogs dont come trained...uless they are an older rescue dog! Ha ha, sometimes...Dogs are not a pet (to me anyways), they are a family member.

Family members for sure. A turtle is a pet, a dog is like a child.

my wife and kids stuck me with a brand new kitten damn it. now i have a bulldog and a kitten. cool thing about the kitten is he is self sufficient and doesnt require a ton of attention. the bull dog on the other hand is a handful.
