Thanks again everyone. The service is in a couple hours. I plan to give a short talk. I will be giving many messages, one is for everyone to love and be there for their elderly parents. That it might feel like an inconvenience on some days, but that you will never regret it. There comes a time in our life when we have to step up to the plate and be there for our mom and dad.
I plan to read this poem today as I honor my wonderful mom-
“So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life.
Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.
Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none.
When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home."
~ Chief Tecumseh”

God gives the hardest battles to the strongest soldiers
God..I know how hard it can be.
My parents are both deceased Dzone..My father passed away in Feb of 2009. I took care of him for seven years after my mom passed and he was my hero. There is nothing I would not have done for him. I remember crying for him, begging for him and God to come back just even for a minute. I still miss him very much and there isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of him and I will never really be the same. I do have the realization now that i did do the best i could and was there for him, just as you were there for your mother. She is listening to you..Cry if you need to, as she is listening and be happy, as she would want you to, and to be confident that you were her son, which was an honor for her. I am sure in her heart were her salvation. i
wow, sorry to hear this michelle. hope you find some happiness after all that suffering dear.
