    MY WIFES NEW CAR (NEW TO HER)

    WE HAD TO GET RID OF THE FORD EXPLODER....LITERALLY, IT BLEW UP AND JUMPED TIME. WE HAD TO PUT AN ENGINE IN IT. THEN 4 MONTHS LATER, THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT. WE BASICALLY PAID FOR IT TWICE. SOMEONE TALKED US INTO PUTTING A JASPER ENGINE AND TRANNY IN IT SO WE COULD GET A WARRANTY. WELL WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE WITH THAT DEAL. 2 TRANSMISSIONS LATER AND IN THE SHOP EVERY OTHER MONTH PLUS BEING A GAS HOG - WE DECIDED TO GET RID OF THE THING!

    I GOT HER A USED ACURA TL...THIS THING IS GREAT! TIGHT, PRECISION, DRIVES LIKE A DREAM! THE QUALITY BLOWS AWAY THE FORD BY A LONG SHOT! PLUS, SHES HAPPY!

    I'm in the same boat as you bro. I have a 2002 BMW M3 and I've had to replace the Transmission, Differential, Alternator, Suspension, Clutch.. Luckily I have an extended warranty which covered everything so far, a little over 12k in repairs. Right now I have a nasty oil leak, leaking about 1.5 quarts a month(est), and I have to take it into the shop this week for that. Honestly I cant wait to sell this ***** but being that it's a convertible, I'll prob have to wait until the spring. I was also looking at the TL's so its good to hear that you like it so far.

              acura/honda makes a great car. also the TL is less likely to get ragged on like a TSX or RSX

                      Good choice. You shouldn't have any trouble with the Acura. The Japanese cars are the most reliable imo.

                        O2, hey good for you brother. its a nice car, and i feel for you , as i just bought a new car to. iam happy for you brother. i hate cars when u have troulble as i cant fix them. i used to work on my 78 car but u could reach everything , now forget it. very nice interior. acuras are known to be nice cars. good for you and wifey. by the way it looks like a nice area you live in , the country or burbs.
