Hot Chili Peppers!!!Im talking HHHHHHOT!

Last night I stopped by this friends house and he and his girlfriend were roasting some peppers and gave me a big bag full. They warned me to be careful because theseare some special extreme peppers from mexico will burn the shit out of your mouth unless you cut it with some ground beef. Well, I had just read a post on here from baby1 about the healthbenefits of peppers, so I decided to say screw the hamburger and just eat them straight out of the bag while I was driving home. OUCH!!!!! Talk about a freakin wake up. My mouth and tongue felt like a nuclear meltdown. I drank some water and as soon as the fire was out, I started eating more. I went thru 6 large peppers last night and today I am eating them like a piece of fruit and eating the whole damn pepper right down to the stem. They are amazing. Its like a painful addiction LOL After a while your mouth gets used to it and They dont burn as bad now, so I am going to try some even hotter peppers next time. When I told that guy how I was eating the peppers straight he couldnt believe it LOL

Its funnt how you can build up a tolerance for hot foods.When I was younger I would eat everythingg with hot sauce.EVERYTHING! While orhers couldnt stand the heat,it was just normal for me.Habeneros to this day,I love and use in many recipes I make.Eating them alone I dont think I could handle today as I have cut down my consumption of hot foods quite a bit but mixed in food.....GIMME GIMME GIMME!!

I have tasted some sauce made from the Ghost Chile and that is death in a bottle.A tiny bit on the tip of my finger was all I could stand.

I like spicy foods, but as soon as my mouth is burning so bad I can't enjoy my meal I'm done lol.

The Hottest one I've ever had was a ghost pepper...took a small bite and huge mistake!! To say 20 plus mins of just uncomfortable, eye watering, forehead sweating misery lol.

Also had some stuff out a bottle once, just a drop on a toothpick and that was horrible too. Not sure what was in that or the name though.

Hop peppers rule..but anything to hot just ruins food for me...like the ghost chili for example....WHY?!?!?!?! just make pepper spray outta that stuff..you shouldn't eat it!!!!

Was at Seaport Village in San Diego a few years back and they had a shop that sold nothing but hot sauces. There was a guy in there from Texas boasting that there was nothing so hot that he couldn't eat it. Behind the counter were maybe 20-25 bottles of special hot sauces, to sample one you had to sign a waiver, they put one drop on a cracker and gave you a little bottle of milk. Mr Texas says give me the hottest one, they pulled out the stuff called "From the Bowels of Hell", one drop on a cracker and he pops it in his mouth. He immediately starts to gasp, sweat and is kind of clawing at his tongue. He drinks the milk and they give him another. After 2-3 excruciating minutes he finally says "holy God, that is the hottest thing I have ever eaten!!!"

I bought a bottle for $20 I think it was. One to two drops in a huge pot of chili and it's almost to hot to eat.

And I have tried ghost peppers, too hot for me. Prefer habaneros over any.

The hottest I've ever had were some wings called spontaneous combustion...I believe they were made with habanero peppers with a chilli pepper extract...used to love hot stuff but as I get older, the backside does not agree with me as much the day after:-)
