geezo, out of nowhere! A sidewall puncture on a goodyear tire that is no longer made.So here I am having to buy 4 new tires instead of just one! %$#@#$$%$#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can someone remind me how important having good tires is again?????????
i was going to ask, why replace the other 3 and just replace the 1 that is next to flat?
That was the plan. Then when I saw the tread measurements, the tires were more worn out than I had expected, so I said fuggit and bought all 4. Now I am kind of wishing I had kept the old tires on the front, but oh well. I have excellent tires now all around.
ahhhhh decent tires are not cheap. you can still get a set of "drive well" tires at the local flea market for $100. i would not trust my baby with those

just a quick tip....find a tire dealer that deals with the local dealership that rocks (probobly a ford store now!!!) if you drive a foriegn car, try to find a tire dealer that does the better foriegn dealers units. with us (gmc) we send trucks and cars down to belltire all the time to get bigger tires or more sporty tires. they give us $100.00 credit for those tires....they have less than 1k miles on them and most the time under 100 miles!!! well...i've bought "take offs" from the belltire across the street for $200 a full set. goodyear wranglers.... just fyi
