So today I did my first session directly based on the tough mudder event I am doing may 5th. I having been lifting, running,, etc..and thought I was in good shape but damn. Running up a ski mountain is a different animal. We did 6 hill repeats, lunges, squats up and down a mountain probably 1/4 mi a ascent. It's been 2 hours and my lungs are still burning.
Want to prep enough so I can have fun and not feel like I'm gonna die. We'll see. Might need to hold off on the Var til after. the leg and calf pumps were bad enough today.
