I got my gold fish from a carnival months months ago and I put it in a 2 gallon little bowl I got at the pet store. Well I bought a 10 gallon tank got all the toys and colorful gravel. Now get this when I turn the light on the fish goes and hides in the corner and wont move. When I turn the light off it roams around. Is that normal. We are going to get more fish and I'm hoping the fish will get used to the light.

i used to have a salt water tank. started off as fresh but i moved up north for a couple of yrs and needed something to do in the winter. imo they will get used to the light, so yes its normal. just keep the tank clean, and imo real clean, b/c that was the most impt thing. when i skipped a week of cleaning, they hid but when the tank was clean they were out all the time. also, try not to have too many objects that they can hide in... it gives them no option but to swim around and be seen. hope this helps

dude its a goldfish, it has a memory span of 8 seconds, so everytime you open up the light, his goldfish brain thinks
