Did you see this ship? It was tilted on its side like it was to topple over. Peopel were eating dinner when it ran aground and some folks actually jumped to their death. With all the technology, how can this happen? Someone really screwed up
Sounds like most of the people who died or got hurt died in panic by jumping off the ship...At the time of the crash there was no danger in sinking...The photos you now after being ground in the sand bar and taking on 20% of water slowly causing it to capsize.
I would panic and throw people overboard to get into a rescue boat, if I were in the middle of the ocean.
In this situation, I would've sat at the bar and enjoyed a beer while I awaited rescue services. For Christ sake, it crashed next to land! Obviously help is not far away, and if worst came to worst, I could swim that distance if needed. But to make a rash decision to risk my life jumping??? No way.
