They stock the desert lakes around Phx. in the fall with trout. Lots are out there with 10 and 12 inch trout swimbaits (rubber fish) I threw one (10") for a few hours and thought my arms were gonna fall off. lol When the thing splashed down it was like you were throwing someones leg into the water.Originally posted by LadiesMan

That is actually an AC Plug - developed in the mid to late eighties by Alan Cole form Southern California. He used them for Stripers in lake Castaic and started killing the largemouths with them. They are incredible in a lake that has small stocked trout in it.
Grimek - try trolling with them - they get down deeper and are much more effective - try to bounce it around near the tops of submerged trees if there are any in the lakes you fish - that is the hot ticket in the lakes where they are successful.
My biggest largemouth to date is 11-9 - caught when I was still living in Southern California - had given up on the bass cause they just weren't feeding and switched over to a small jig with a 1" trailer on it and started going for Crappie - man was I in shock when that thing came out of the water.Comment
