    It's the challenge to me.. No live bait, onlt lures. Most lines that I use are below 6# test. Which means, you have to know how to fight the fish and not just hook them and drag them into shore.

      yeah bro I throw the yellow perch on lake fork and the gizzard and threadfin shad as well as the blugills on other lakes. Basskiller 6# line is small I assume you fish fairly open water? Where i go it's like an underwater forest and you have to make your presentation in the middle of to catch fish. I use 30 # line for flippin and pitchin, I only have one spinning reel and I have 8# on it on my baitcasters the lightest I use is 10# p-line xxx strength. A five or six pounder on 6# line would definatly be a challenge in the best circumstance. and catch and release is my motto as well.
