Mostly a trainer. Beyond his Psy D in exercise science. I consider him a genious with training methods. This guy anyone he has trained usually wins the meet that they enter. Recently 44 year old guy entered amateur olympic meet here. 1st contest ever. He placed first in masters. The 20 year old kid he trained took his category as well. So I guess his knowledge. Inspires me. He developed his own variation or periodization cycle training. Similiar to the old russian and bulgarian methods that just astound me.

Dude sounds cool. I know what you mean about wanting to be left alone. I get so damn focused and in a zone, I dont want it disturbed. Yesterday I was busting ass and keeping rest to 45 seconds and some dude on the bench press comes over and asks me to spot him. Totally taking me out of my tempo. I went ahead and gave him a handoff and then this Trainer who knows me and knows I hate that shit, comes over and says "Go ahead with your workout , I will take over and spot him" I was so relieved. If someone is going to need a spotter, get a training partner or set your bench press up inside a power rack. Dont ask someone to leave what they are doing just for you.
