Many Kids these days have no respect for teachers, counselors or principals. They tell them to go to hell all the time. Even telling teachers to F*** Off has become common. I have heard many teachers today say that most of their time is spent trying to control unruly kids in the classroom and less time teaching. No wonder our schools suck now days. The more the government gets involved in schools, the worse they get. WTH is happening?

Plain and simple, its cause parents are starting to suck more and more. So many parents just do not care about their kids and they dont discipline them, and usually they support their bad behavior by allowing it to go.

BINGO!! You hit the nail on the head! It starts at home and it is up to parents to get a hold on this behavoir at the start even at a very young toddler age. It is a hard job to be a parent and I don't believe you can blame everything a child does on their parents, but the respect issue has to be at home to carry on out of the home. That also goes for spouses to remain and be respectful to one another in front of their children. If they disrespect each other, the children most likely will also. I often hear parents say that it is different these days, but I can accept that. Kids are spoiled and many parents try to be their friend instead of a parent.
tnz, may I ask how old your stepson is? Has he seemed to be worse since the news of a new baby? Even if he seems happy about it, it can affect kids in different ways. Just something to think about.

He is 9. I have thought about that but it was going on before the news. He is just a talker and if someone starts talking and cutting up, he will follow right along. Now it could be that he has gotten worse since the news and I am going to keep my eye on that.
My wife spanked him tonight. I left it up to her but I told him the next time it would be me. I basically just gave him a talking to. We will see what happens now. Of course he is grounded too

yes, and the government wants the schools to be where kids learn about values, even more than the home. Schools have become government centers for indoctrination in socialism and revisionist history
my stepsoan is 21 and married now....i've lit his ass up!!! i was around from 18mos on and gave him a couple small ones when he was younger...at 6 he was caught stealing mail out of peoples mailbox....the police was called and brought him home. i called his dad and told him and he said "whoop that boys ass",,,that was the end of it. i think alot has to do w2iht the parents all being on the same program. we were all raiseed the same way and we all got our ass'd busted...we all believed a healthy ass whopping goes a long way... to this day he knows i'll whip his ass if i gotta , lol

My grandma used to keep a switch on top of the refrigerator...she was the kindest person on earth but that switch was pure evil. I didnt get it very much, but when I did, I had welts for a couple days to remind me to never fuk up again

Honestly I think spanking kids is way over rated and probably causes more problems in a kid than it helps...once every blue moon for really bad stuff, but when a kid is gettting spanked all the time, that is just wrong. Beating a kid with a belt regularly is way too common and satisfies hidden sadistic impulses

Me too! And my mom used to make me drop my undies and whoop me with a belt. Ahhhhh....the good ole' days. The world would be a better place if that was still around
