    Meet the new Conan

    Conan the Barbarian Lionsgate Before he was the Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger was Conan the Barbarian. The 1982 film wasn't in the same league as some of Ah-nold's bigger hits, but it remains a cult favorite. Today, the first trailer for the remake, starring the formidible Jason Momoa in the title role, hit the Web.
    Momoa, who will receive CinemaCon's Rising Star of 2011 Award, may be best known for his work on "Stargate: Atlantis" and "Baywatch." Several years ago, Momoa and Lisa Bonet made news after they named their child Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa. Momoa's mother later explained that Nakoa means "warrior."
    Should Momoa's version of "Conan the Barbarian" be a hit, interest in the actor with intimidation to burn is sure to rise. Indeed, he's already surging in the Search box. Over the past seven days, online lookups for "jason momoa" have flexed their muscles, jumping 44%.
    You can check out the new trailer for "Conan the Barbarian" below. The film is scheduled to hit theaters this August.

    i hope they feed the dude before they ReALLY start filming!!! he's got a badass scowl though, i'lll give him that

            Has anyone seen this yet? There's some cam versions floating around. Is it worth buying a ticket or waiting to rent?

              The dude definitely needs to hit the gym some more. Conan was huge, larger than life. This guy ... not so much.

                He was on the first season of game of thrones untli his character died off

                  well....looks like he got himself jacked up a little, but i wish he had another 6months to really put some size on!! didnt see the movie yet, put judging it but the trailors i been seeing.....still needs more size. it a dvd'er in my opinion

                      Yes in a comic book- This guy is like almost seven feet tall, good with weapons etc

                        I heard on the radio that the opening weekend was much lower than expected. They made it sound like it was almost a flop, so it may be a rental. I personally haven't seen it though
