This was the other dog I had, she was a beauty. 95# female, looked just like a wolf.

I used to have a wolf - he was a great companion. So smart it was unreal. He was 96% Yukon Tundra wolf and 4% malamute. He weighted in at around 135lbs. He was a big cuddle-bug lap dog. I miss that guy...The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

Make sure you're in a Northern climate if you get a dog like that. I'd hate to see that pooch suffer of excess heat it's whole life.
Also, they tend to be dogs that need alot of attention or they get bored and like to go wander.RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.
Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.

She didn't wander too much, maybe because she's female, they don't run as much as the males. I'm in NY, but during the summer she loved the AC in the house. So be sure that you are makin the best of what that you have

We had a male Husky/Malamute cross. Beautiful dog! Just felt guilty because he really liked the bush I didn't get him out there nearly enough. Great outdoor companion dogs... expecially for these Canadian winters.RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.
