Well thanks D, you know I look at it like this bro, you can have things taken from you like a girlfriend, job and stuff but they can never take away those feelings. thats my "go to" when I need help.
Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.
Nothing at the moment.....but OLDWISEGUYS' avatar is starting to help!!!
But seriously, I would have to agree with the mirror. I have this picture in my mind of what I would like to look like (no, it's not all shredded and leaned out like muscle mags) and that helps me get motivated. My ideal look that I want is VERY obtainable.....my laziness has really dragged me down this year though.

Other people, people my age that are way outta shape, younger guys who are in shape. I dunno just some kind of thing I have because im 44 5'4 and being on meds for the rest of my life, plus im competitive with myself and others. it's nice to have other people admire you and be inspired by the things I do. music really helps too Iron Maiden or Dio really gets me fired up. the clanging of the plates, the feel of the pump, the pain, and the sweat. the super high I get from all those hormones flowing through my body.
I like yer style, MM! We're kinda in the same board, age wise and health wise. And I ain't much taller than ya, either.

I've read similar stuff from a lot of "pros," basicallt saying to envision a finished product, and it will keep you going.
I used to look at other women and try to achieve looks on dif body parts, but i dont really do that now. I just motivate myself...The never ending of accomplishing a specific goal is what keeps me going, and of course the feeling aft you just did a good workout..Nothing really beats the feeling of that.
Inspired by two things. Growing up and until about 7th grade i was FAT. In fact, i only weigh 15 punds more now than i was when in 7th grade. Secondly, my father. He retired at a young age, didn't eat well, smoked cig and drank alot. He had his first heart attack at 42. Since then he had 5 more and the last one got him, RIP. I am 44 now and am completely different with regards to staying healthy. Even though they say, 15% of ailments is controllable. The other 85% is hereditary. Due to my dad's heart attacks, I regularly see a cardiologist.
