Most of the times the parties invloved are more concerned. I could care less about a civil war going on in another country. And please drop the UN support argument. If that is all you have then you may need to form your own opinions.

Sorry, Canada isn't a hypocritical nation. We believe that the laws agreed upon by everyone should apply to everyone.
So you claim to care about the Iraqi people, but only them or something. War is a tragedy anywhere it occurs, if you could care less about it, then you obviously don't value human life and I seriously question why you support the war on Iraq if you don't care about the countries people.

Well said LM. Bottom line about the weapons is we KNOW he had them in 1991. No we don't know what he has now, but there is no proof that he doesn't have them anymore! The burden of proof is on Iraq!!

my point wasnt about the missile being a scud missile!!!!!!! my point is that saddam is LYING about the weapons he does posess...I realize the scud missiles arent the most powerful thing out there....but Saddam said he disarmed everything, and didnt even posess scud missiles....so he lied about those....eventually we will find out he lied about WMD...

2 wrongs don't make a right is not a childish expression/responce!! It's the absolute truth! Your trying to justify breaking the UN laws by saying Saddam is breaking other laws.
The whole world already knows Saddam is a liar, he's lied many times before and will continue to do so. Him lying about the Scud missles doesn't surprise anyone or change anything. Last I heard this war wasn't about Saddam lying or Saddam having Scud missles.
This war was supposed to be about WMD and human rights..

the war is about disarming Saddam!!! (when I say disarming, I mean, everything, not just WMD).....and the whole thing that could have avoided war was if Saddam did in fact disarm....he said he did...but he obviously didnt!!!....so the war is about disarming Iraq, and Liberating Iraq....and you are correct, the human rights part is true...Saddam treats him people so poorly, that we are trying to help them....good point there...And my point of the US breaking the UN relations is very valid...Its obvious that saddam has ties to Bin Laden..Bin Laden has come out in his past tape, and admitted that...and terrorist threats are evident all the time.....and the US has to put up with all the UN bullshit to wait to disarm Iraq??? lol no....the time has come man, and this war is overdue...
