ill take a good union free hand over a good union hand any day on any job and get more production and alot less whining. I have bossed union crews and non union crews in mines and railroad, and ill tell you the union free guys just man up and get the job done....big job and its lunch time, who cares take a 5 min lunch and get it done...union guys= clock watchers..."still got 15 min lunch left boss"..."its break time boss".
I'll say this about my airline union they can suck my balls they are so bad . The IAM 141 INTERNATIONAL AEROSPACE MACHINISTS they can all go to hell. You are right, we don't have a free market and no country ever has. I was referring to the capitalism type market we do have and simply used the word "free" for lack of a better word at the time.

Do you ever wonder why 93% of the U.S. workforce is non-union? And what makes you think all union employees make better wages. I make a very respectable salary and am not in a union.
Maybe one day you will desire a broader understanding of economics and philosopy. I would suggest reading Adam Smith, Fredrick Hayek, and Ludwig von Mises, but I doubt that will ever happen. another thing...the umwa pays a top rate miner $24.50 an hour...my union free mine pays their top rate miner$28.65....almost the same benefits too...we pay more so we dont have to have a union protecting their weak and trying to direct the workforce instead of the company...and no union mine is in the top 20 most productive per man hour....all union free

Yes, unions do get the government jobs. That's the point of this thread. Unions have their names on jobs before they're even thought of. Unions get more handouts than an obese, cracked out, mother of 8 barefooted rug-rats.

I know, I know...employees, union and non-union, get paid vacations every single year. Business owners usually don't get that vacation. Most don't even get the perks of yourself, believe it or not. sweat shops and child labor, remember buying from the company store? They are still a product of capitalism, but not so much now that unions have forced the changes. How about NAFTA& GAT products of capitalism, where are we benifiting from that ? The people with real money via capitalism in this country have ZERO alliance to us as their only alliance is to the money they can force out of us.
