Medication costs

Now I had to pick up my medication today and I had to get 90 pills worth. Now if I didnt have insurance the medication would of cost me $1100 dollars now with my insurance I have it only cost me $40. Thank god for insurance

yea but my ins sucks im suposed to get 120 pils they only pay for 100 and i have to pay 2x as much for the other 20

I hear ya pally. But you shouldn't be taking those estrogen pills anyway. God made you a man, and you should remain that way.

i dont have insurance...i hope i dont need anything. its like playing russian rulet, (horse...can you spell rulet right for me? lol), every day!! one day i'm gonna get fuked up and caught without insurance....

we would be broke without ins...my daughters asthma meds are waaay expensive

We're self employed so we pay full price on our insurance. It's a high-deductible insurance which means we have a 5,000 deductible. Our co-pays are higher as well as our Rx's co-pays. I have allergies, so I refilled my Rx (30 days supply) came out to be $35 for the generic Allegra.

Look, there's good an bad with everything. The bad is the medication costs. However, the good is, drug companies will be forced to lower their costs since people will no doubt be illegally buying their meds over seas off the internet.
The other good is, pre existing medical conditions will no longer be an issue. So, if you have heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, etc.... the insurance companies can not decline you or raise your rates based on that anymore.
