President Obama created a new presidential precedent when he bowed to the Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko Saturday.

No president of the United States in the more than 230 years since the country was founded in 1776 had ever bowed to a member of royalty. That was until Barack Obama’s presidency.

In April, President Obama bowed to the Saudi king during the G-20 meeting. At the time, Obama’s deferential bow was somewhat obscured, and the White House insisted that the president simply had leaned forward to shake the king’s hand.

But the president's recent demonstration of royal deference to the Japanese emperor and empress suggests his earlier action was no aberration.

The policies in the other countries do not even call for him to do it. He misunderstands what it means, the guy is weak, and he shows it regularly. One thing people have to admit is the USA cannot be run by a weakness, I hope.

not only does he bow, he goes overseas and apologizes for the United States and talks shit about the country he is supposedly a citizen of. No other president has ever gone overseas and bad mouthed the USA..no wonder he bows. He genuinely feels inferior and acts embarrrased about the USA.

well...i'm not sticking up for the assclown, but "smart" is relative. my kid was rebuilding engines in rc cars when he was 12....he had d's in math and science. now...he can rebuild any chevy engine in his sleep....he BARELY graduated....he's top student in his deisel mechanic school...aces every test. probobly cant even spell diesel!!!
i dont think obama's an idiot. i agree he makes some very poor decissions and i am embarressed with his antics abroad....but he's not a dummy...my bet is he knows what he's doing

It is a plan, for sure. And yes he is smart and getting what he wants, for now. But unfortunately for all he is not wise and considering the damage that will be done. You see once the USA is taken care of I believe the world will fall on a new chaos. Although some do not like our meddling, it is a necessary evil.
