I heard that a remake is in the works and it will be called "Kung Fu Kid" with Will Smiths son. A remake just can't be as good as this original, imo.

that would be like the remake they did of willie wonka. it was a classic that stands on its feet still and didn't need to be remade, it sucked. karate kid was and is still a classic, it doesn't need an upgrade/remake. hopefully if they try they fall flat in their faces.You may not recognize your mom when you get home, I shaved her back.
