Deeps other new Toy

Well I told ya I was hunting a 1911 in .45 and I found it. I had it shipped in the other day and will have my Lasermark laser installed and I picked up 300 rounds of ammo. Its a Para Ordinance "Big hawg" (double stack .45) that holds 14+1:

I was looking at Kimber 1911s last week, but I'm not trying to drop a grand on a pistol.

How will the laser mount on that? Does it mount in the gun, and point out under the barrel?

Well the only company that makes a laser for this gun is "lasermax" and it goes inside the frame under the barrel and replaces the slide pin. Here is a link to see what it will look like:

I looked at some 1911s today. None had dble stack mags.

That is sweet! A 15 round is too thick and heavy for me to carry. Why the laser sighting? BTW Those prices are WAY down from a few years ago.
