Everyone seem to have their own thoughts on how much protein you should take in when cutting and bulking. Lets hear them.
I know I dont seem to grow if I dont get atleast 1g per lb of body weight. some say you need 2g per lb of body weight, but that hard to get down a times.

carbs are the key to bulking. I've done the gram per pound thing and never noticed a difference from what I usually do. I make sure I get enough to recover, but beyond that, it's a waste. Do a search on Jay Ferrugia and his articles.
I Have to have my protein~!! Or you can just watch my muscle saying "Hasta La Vista Baby~!" I usually do about 1.8 gr, may increase it a bit if bulking, but I have a fine line there before My body stops assimilating it and it gets stored. Same with carbs for me. What I find so fascinating is how my body responds so much from just changing the types of carbs I'm consuming as well as cycling them. Our body is an amazing piece of machinery~!! And the sky is the limit once you've figured out just how to manipulate it. All though I think the most awesome thing is how it fights you the whole way, trying to convince you to do other wise, and its very good at it~!!
I read that to maintain you need 1 gram per lb of bodyweight, to grow you need 2 grams. i will take in about 2 grams per lb by eating supplemeting my normal diet with additional egg whites, protien bars, and shakes.
