lust, or whatever you wanna call it. I went to my LGS yesterday, and held the Saiga .308. It felt great. It would make a great hunting rifle really. It has a regular stock. Nothing fancy. Just your everyday rifle stock. It has a normal fore-end. which is comfy. I'd rather the unique AK 2-piece. The gun shop owner stated that that people claim that one piece to be more comfy. The gun is long. It's gotta be at least a 22" barrell. The only thing that's Kalashnikov about it is the receiver. Which is really all that needs be. And it's Izhmash. But, I just really fell head over heels for that Romanian true AK-47 calibered in the original 7.62x39mm. It has the wooden stock and 2-piece fore-end. The pistol grip is plastic. And, if I want to change the stock out to the AR-15 style, he has those in stock for $80, I think it was. I can also change the lower fore-hand to the wooden one with the fore-hand grip. I could change it all to plastic if I wanted.
I just want the true AK. He has plenty of rounds. The 7.62x39 are cheaper, and tat's good because all I'd use it for is target shooting.
Man, I just want one so bad!!! And his are priced so sweet. I could literally by one. Take it to the gun show next weekend, and make a couple-3 hundred bucks, quick. Then go buy another. Maybe that's how I should sell it to the wife. vause I damn sure can't walk in here with an AK right now. ooohw...I could say I got mine back. nah, that's just wrong. and I don't believe in that bs.
ughhh!!! I wish my pops would just go get mine back. He claims he will along with a couple German Lugers that are being held captive by a family member.lol...but, it ain't that big of a deal. The AK is though. damnit!
One thing about getting this AK in 7.62x39 is the one that will return to me sooner or later is a Soviet model in .308. so...I kinda have one in .308. That justifies me getting this one a little more. It's different. And less expensive for plinking. ....what to do?....This is killing me. If you only knew.
