Personal Protection Preferences

What , if anything, do you prefer? I used to carry a loaded 357 magnum in any car I was driving. I had it taken from me on a routine pullover. I havent had anything since then and I dont carry anything in my car.
At home, I dont have firearms at the ready if something happened. I only keep a steel 5 knuckle death punch and an extremely huge sharp knife close by at all times. I live in the country so its really pretty crime free out here but if someone shows up unwelcome, they willbe greeeted by the death punch.lol

What do you keep around just in case?

In my truck I carry either a tarus Millenium Pro(9mm) or my new Tarus 24/7 (9mm) when I'm off work.

At the house its a mixed bag- take your pick:
1-Weatherby Vanguard 25-06 (200 rounds on hand)
2-Savage 11 in 243 (200 rounds on hand)
3- Yildiz O/U 20ga (2 cases on hand)
4- Yildiz O/U 12ga (2 cases on hand)
5- Browning A-4 20ga Mag
6- Mossberg 410 single shot (50 rounds on hand)
7- LC Smith 12ga SxS
8- Browning lever action 22lr (5000 rounds on hand)
9- Remington speedmaster 22s/l/lr
10- 2other 22lr's that I can't recall makes and models
11- Browning 22lr Pistol
12- Beretta 92FS 9mm ( 1700 rounds on hand)
13- One Big Pissed Off Redneck! LOL
14- Rotti
15- Pitbull

Marlin semi-auto 22lr
and a handy Hi Point 9mm that can ride along anytime. (this little sucker would serve a hell of a pistol whippin as well)...for those that might not warrant anything from the business end.
My boy Crash, our American/Pit Bulldog mix, would be something to reckon with at the house too.

I can not stand violence though. Just the thought of it is so dark to me. I guess that's why I feel so strongly against those that impose violence onto innocence. Violence deserves no mercy.

S&W 44. loaded with 240 gr Black Tallons
Remington 870 loaded with Buckshot
SKS 7.62 x 39 with 30 round clip
S&W .22 LR semi auto pistol
Ruger .22 LR loaded with 22 LR
Various others that I will not mention???????
Also have several canisters of OC spray around, along with a Taser.

I got one of those in the .45(why waste time with anything less) and I love it. I have the stainless slide and damn bang for the buck it's hard to beat. I do have a Glock 45 Mod. 21 but it's to big to carry.
As far as others well I have alot more than the list above with a few assault rifles. All legal.
No need to list them and I'm not gonna say how much cash is in my safe either!!!

how would i choose, in my bedside table i got my 92FS and under my bed i got my mossberg 500 pistol grip and tactical light loaded with 00 buckshot and my rottie diesel roaming the house.

i don't carry anything with me but i do keep my kimber 1911 in .45 next to my bed with 5 loaded clips. My roommate also have a XD 9 and a Sig 40 that he keeps next to his bed. Besides that i think the combines 600 pounds between the 2 of use should work well.
