talked to a jehovahs witness the other day. he said they dont believe you go to heaven wihen you die. you just go to sleep and you stay there in the ground until the day jesus returns. then you wake up and rise from the grave and have a party on earth...hard to keep a straight face when someones telilng you this kind of malarkey...lol

I took advice from a member of FG that used to regular. What happened to mandarb anyway?...but anyway, mandarb, the FG member, was a scholar of the Holy Bible. He claimed to have studied it for 18yrs. He was a self claim atheist now, but anyway. He told me to entertain them once. He gave me some information on their beliefs and the religion, Jehovas Witness', past. So I did what he said, and the exact thing he said would happen, did indeed happen. They kept coming to my house with elders to answer my questions that the young onnes couldn't. Finally, after about the 3rd or 4th stop one Saturday morning. I wasn't in that great of a mood, and kinda came out, voice a little raised, I didn't have a shirt on, tats and shyt, and told 'em not to come back. But those folks are whacky.
Mandarb had studied that religion as well. That's how he knew so much about it.

The thing that got me, I just remembered. The dikheads first stop was Christmas morning around 8am. no shyt. So, I was in a decent mood, and I entertained them for a moment, discredited something they said, and reminded them, as if they didn't know, what morning it was.

I think jehovahs witnesses dont believe in cremation either cuz ashes dont come back to life as good as dirt does. something like that....LOL... religion in general is just plain strange!

lmao!!!!!..Yup, you are right, its 144,000 people that god has hand picked to be saved. the rest are going to burn in hell, I think...So, since the beginning of time, how many people have been born? Thats a few trillion peeps who God is going to say :GO TO HELL! ..Hard to believe that some super smart people base their entire lives on this baloney

I could be wrong, about the hell part. I think the earth is going to go to the 144,000 and it will be back to like in adam and eves day. everything perfect. then the other 50 trillion people have to go live in some kind of hell like place without god and god will reside on earth wityh his choosen flock of 144,000...some kinda shit like that...its llike reading alice in wonderland and basing your life on it

Even tho they come at the most inopportune moments, all the JW that stop by are well dressed and well mannered in my area.It's funny to watch them pile out of thee ol church van and scurry about the neighborhood.
They always pop off with "we are just here to encourage everyone to read the bible", and my reply is "well,i read it daily so where do we go from here?".
I asked one why they dont have any widow's in their church'es and they had no idea what to say!!

They are pretty easily spotted around here. For some reason they're almost always younger guys. It's like a dress code of black pants, white shirt, and dark colored tie. They ride bicycles around town. They're on foot in neighborhoods.

I'm surprised when you stumped them that they didn't return later with an elder to answer your question.

You got me wondering too. Why don't widows attend their churches?
