where is the best freshwater fishing in north america ?

    It is not the size that counts. My favorite fly-fishing spot is the Madison River in Southwestern Montana. About 15 north of West Yellowstone.
    We have a cabin there. Catching a 15 inch rainbow with an elkhair caddis dry fly on 4 pound test. For me, it doesnt get much better than that!

        Texas has the best bass fishing anywhere, IMO more 10# + fish have been documented coming out of Texas waters than anywhere else. I bass fish all year and fish great lakes like Fork, Ray roberts, OH Ivie, and cooper. You can catch bigger fish in California but you won't catch nearly the numbers.

          I agree, texas has some killer fishin. Lived in Humble bout 14yrs.
          Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.
