I thought this was an interesting bit of information.

Atlas Shrugged sold an all time annual high in 2008 and it was published in 1957. The first quarter of 2009, the book has tripled the pace of the first quarter of 2008.

You don't really get any more hardcore libertarian than Ayn Rand and all this big government $hit seems to be causing an undertow of resistence.

Obama may have been the best thing for exposing statism and causing enough unrest to catapult us back towards freedom.

If you haven't read it our current reality seems like a bad satirical play mocking "Atlas Shrugged".

the American people will figure this guy out over time, especially as the taxes and caps on free market kick in, and as he advances his socialistic agenda. What concerns me the most is the health care "reform" they are pushing, and the move of the census from commerce into the white house. The moving of the census is an ominous sign, i think, as this seems to portend an even more direct controlling of the numbers by the dems to maintain control--dont get me wrong, i do not pretend to think that repubs havent done the same thing, just not as overtly. the reconfiguring of the census, along with their ideas to "guestimate" illegals and homeless plus the pushing of more entitlements such as health care run by the govt for all are designed to maintain democratic control. watch carefully the illegal immigration issue.
