Reagan made it feel good to be an American. Whether his politics sucked or not, he had a presence and sense of leadership that was reassuring at the time. Time and circumstances tend to Mythologize(is that a word?) some. In 50 years GW Bush may be considered a genius..LOL
FDR? Loads of economic theorists concur that FDRs New Deal did NOT end the Great Depression 1 and may have prolonged it . Plus how soon we forget how toward the end, the sickly and frail FDR caved in to the USSR and let Stalin walk all over him. Had Reagan been President in 1944, I doubt Russia would have stolen half of europe the way they did.

lol, I read somewhere that Bush's IQ is up there close to genius actually.

True...Reagan ended the Cold War, brought down the Berlin Wall, Armed the Contras which Ollie North and the administration got in trouble for but now since the Contras were no longer funded under the table, El Salvadore is a Commie country.

Kennedy was great because he stood his ground and said there will be NO NUCLEAR MISSLES in Cuba a.k.a "Cuban Missle Crisis" He had a Navy blockade set to intercept any Russian ships bringing missles to Cuba. Russia backed down!

GHW Bush I Liberated Kuwait.(Operation Desert Storm) People *****ed that he didnt go in and get Saddam!

GW Bush II liberated Iraq. Women can now get an education and there are free elections. there has not been ONE attack on our homeland since 9/11. He sent people money. Checks they could spend. If you cashed one of those checks and ***** about Bush you should have sent it back to the Government. He liberated Afghanistan. Once again....females can get an education. There are no more public hangings and beheadings at Soccer fields by the Taliban for someone simply accused of an offense....
