TMy soon to be step son used to be better behaved than this I think it is taking my fiance by surprise too.

He might be testing you to see how much you will let him get away with. You and your fiance need to discuss how much discipline that you are responsible. In the perfect world his father would handle all of the discipline, but in the real world the father isn't always around when his son needs discipline. This leaves it up to you. Your fiance must support you when you do have to discipline.

It's tough enough being a parent, but it's can be even harder to be a step-parent.
