  • Upside down loan?

My GF is upside down on her car loan. What is the best way to get out from under it?

Only way is to pay it off to bring it current

There is no easy way out. Either put enough extra in your payments to get right side up or when you purchase you next vehicle-roll it over, but your still gonna be upside down- but at least you'll have a new car and then focus on paying more than the min.

That's what I figured. Its not that bad. I mean she still drives it and likes it. I was just curious.

thats it, but i would suggest, if your gonna roll it, roll it into a lease...then after the 2 or 3 year lease term, you got a clean slate

That's a good idea dave - actually I don't know that I've ever thought of that.
It may cost a bit more than a typical lease but you're right, you'll be clean at the end of it....as long as you dont drive 3 times the mileage limit like some people I know or trash it because they cant take care of sh!t that aint theirs!

                  Good idea dave

Have it disappeared/stolen. Only if you have gap ins. Or do what daved150 suggests. J.R.
