We've been turned down twice for the loan for our new place and we've got great credit scores. Caught in the catch 22... can't sell our houses so we don't qualify for a loan. Other people can't qualify for loans, so they can't buy our houses... the circle keeps going round and round.

So much for the bank bailout stimulating the economy...

In a way it is, but it isn't directly affecting me one bit. That is what I'm saying....the ripple effect is being felt but what you're feeling and the hardships aren't what most Americans are going through and that is what I meant.

Unless it is directly affecting most Americans most shit just doesn't get done anymore. It takes a mountain to move the masses in America now. We are so engrained in our day to day lives most just don't give a shit, hence the reason we are in the mess we are.
