just saw him today at the shelter..hes a labrador/****et hound mix...8 months old...he might not get adopted because he is afraid of other dogs but with people he is sooo cool!..Look at him . I just picked him up after just meeting him...lol...I have a lad y offering me a golden lab, purebred, 6 weeeks old in trade for personal training..what to do, what to do????what would you all go for/

i'm partial to labs...greatest dogs i've ever had. great personality, great with the kids, and still protective over it's family. i never had a better buddy.

How can you go wrong with any dog from the pound? I think that they make the best pets because they are so happy to be out of the pound.

thanks ya'll...hahaha, dave, not a myspace chick this time...lol...anyway, I looked at him again yesterday and he was really excellent around other dogs, so I dont know....I may end up with him today. half ****ett hound and half black lab..he is super hyper and likes to jump but the second y9ou start petting him, he totally calms down..how easy is it to stop a dog from jumping? another questions: what are4 advantages to a mixed breed mutt over a purebred???THANKS everybody, I will keep you posted and put on more pics....this is abig decision..I intend to get him totally certified as a therapy dog.
