We obviously have a population that thinks a majority should be able to infringe the rights of the minority; that is Obama's policy isn't it I'll protect 95% of you while I burden 5% of you, even though most of us know that number is heavily skewed but as long as he gets 50% +1 to believe him the majority can rule.

Having a grossly uninformed electorate I think is more dangerous to our country than Obama and or terrorists. We will be defeated from the inside out.
I have to second what Klash said. I was down town recently and an Obama rally had just finished up. My wife and I were waiting to be seated at a restaurant and overheard a few black men talking about the rally. One of them said, "Were going to get us a black man in there and show them how we do it". Now do you really think these guys are voting because they've done the research and he's the best candidate? Maybe but I doubt it. It is more of a novelty to be voting for a black man.

Whenever I talk politics with an Obama supporter they can never answer the hard questions that Obama has gotten a pass on in the media. I have come to the conclussion that Obama is a liar and no one has been able to offer a persuasive arguement otherwise.

i'm going to go off on a tangent real quick but do black people really think it is best to elect Obama? The race card when it pertains to America as a whole will be gone. African Americans make up 12% of the population so obviously Obama will need some help from whites. The race card has been pretty benefitial in the past but if we can elect a black man to the highest office in the world it would appear that America as a whole does not look at skin color.

Also, let me say that I think it is great that we as a country are at a place where a black man could possibly be elected to the office of the presidency. But is it a good thing that the first black man as president will probably, if you listen to the economists, plunge this country into a depression with the policies he wishes to implement. Obama's tax plans are similar to those of hoover which plunged the country into a depression is 1932 (I invite you to educate yourself on the similarities of the two). I'll go so far as to say it would set the African American race back if the first black president fails!

I agree but will the mainstream media be able to admit that he failed without being considered racist ? Obama will always be portrayed as a victim by the media.

I am very sure that they will try to spin it and they may just succeed but I would like to think that there are enough intelligent Americans that hold him accountable. Time will tell.

They have hit the nursing homes here in OH. They had a severely mentally retarded man on tv saying he voted for "da black man" but he didn't even know his name. That is WRONG. Someone helped him vote. My grandpa works with a man that lost his wife a couple of months ago. He called about his absentee ballot to get one I think and they said they just got his wifes and she voted for Obama. She is dead. She would not have voted for Obama. He is voting for McCain.

it is amazing how a thread that had nothing to do policies or who was running for president turned in yet another opportunity to bash a candidate... just very sad to me... but o well i am all for free speech

This is what I am talking about. The Obama campaign has stooped pretty low.

                    definition of sore loser

Someone who can't simply be honorable, by accepting defeat and/or trying again. On the contrary, said individual or group engages in childish pissing and moaning; *****ing about how it's not fair and the other side cheated, etc.

                    just food for thought

it was not pointed to no one.... it was to go along with the thread... the thread had nothing to do with who is gonna win or who was gonna lose, but it turned into silly comments about obama, yet again... i am not predicting him as the winner but i think it goes well with theme of what the thread turned into..

Should we all just accept democratic tyranny because it is supported by the majority? You act as if nothing valuable is being threatened. This is about the ideology of freedom in which Obama is obviously opposed to. People who support Obama obviously don't use liberty as their measuring stick. If you take peoples words seriously there is no way you can't believe Obama is a Marxist. People think he will rule as a centrist, yet his record and words do not indicate that. So people are willing to risk that a Marxist won't act as a Marxist or we have a $hitload of Marxist in America or half the population suffers from blinding ignorance.

Thats because your failing to see the correlation.
When government's solutions for big issues is bigger government, you have more bureaucracy and less common sense. Government is brute force and brute force is counter productive to just about everything we value.
