Biden Doesn’t Believe Plumbing Business Could Make 250 Grand A Year

You know they are a bit worried when they make a silly charge like Biden does here. Actually questioning the existence of Joe the Plumber:




He basically says he knows of no plumbing companies that would make 250 grand a year.

In-Freakin-Credible…..

Check out the numbers in the Survey of Small Business Finances put out by the Federal Reserve Mr. Biden and you will find that there are indeed many small business who make in excess of 250 grand.

But that’s there argument in a nutshell. Your gonna be a-ok as a business owner as long as your not too successful. If you are then you must obey and redistribute that extra cash.

But look out, the left is going to do whatever is needed to destroy Joe “The Plumber” Wurzelbacher because he represents the regular joe who is trying to make a business he started a success. They know that a large segment of our population. From farmers to grocery store owners to a mechanic shop…..in a Obama Presidency they will be penalized for being successful.

Sounds like Communism to me.

I remember the 1st Gold's Gym that I joined back in 1985. The owner had to close it down 2 years later and explained to me that it cost $10K just to have the franchise name on his business. Mind you, this wasn't your usual huge gym at the time. His place was that of a former Realtor office.

i can introduce you guys to 250k plumbers if you'd like....some of them aint doing that money now, but it has been there in the past and will be there in the future!!! i know 250k drywall guys, electritians, small security company owners...250k aint a ton of money for a solid trade!!

It's back to my other post about everyone bashing "Joe the plumber". It's not about Joe... I'm sure he just pulled a number out of the air "25,000". The number is not the point. The point, "Is it fair to redistribute the wealth?" But all these politicians and media are totally missing that.

Why should anyone who makes over $250,000 pay more taxes? Taxes should be the same for everyone across the board.

Up until this year... 250K wasn't hard for a good service guy to make. What I've hear other debate is are they talking gross or net. The way the IRS looks at it that would be what you brought in... that's what they want you to pay taxes on. Only you get to deduct all your expenses and by time you take out deductions, you won't have $250K. Once again, that's not the point... they are distracting you for the true issue... distribution of wealth.

Wouldn't it be nice if when you did bring in 250K that you got to keep more of it, instead of paying taxes on labor, inventory, etc. Ask Dave what all he gets taxed on... he'll tell you. I'm just getting my feet wet trying to figure out our quarterly taxes right now.

Totally not true! We have some big plumbing businesses here in Chicago that I would think make more than that. The prices for service calls alone are outrageous. Also, $250,000 is not that much these days for a business to make. The salon I work at brings in way over that in a year. We are over that amount alread this year and we are down from last year at this time.
