No, I didnt know that Fuzo. Was it a financial burden on him to get his daughters cleft palate surgically repaired? I seriously doubt that he sat in the hospital crying over where he and his wife were going to come up with the $money$ to cover her cleft palate surgery. I mean really. Did Mccain have serious financial trouble due to combat injuries? Why did he vote against health care for Iraq amputees? He has no personal experience himself with their plight. He's a Multi-Millionaire.

Does everyone know how we have 7.5%+ taken out of our paycheck for social security? Our employer matches that amount. In england there is universal healthcare (sounds like obama right?). In the uk there is a 15%+ taken out for their "free" healthcare.
McCain is offering an option to small business to offer healthcare and get a tax credit. Somehow obama spinning that into a tax on business. not true.
Privitized healthcare is the best. period. WHERE I DISAGREE WITH THE SYSTEM... We are the nation that develops all the drugs. This is wonderful. The drug companies need to make up their R&D (research and development) on profits from the drugs sold... This is not my problem... Canada &europe refuse to pay high prices for drugs and tell the drug companies what they will pay or none of their drugs will come in the country. HERE IT IS... The drug companies charge americans the higher prices to make up for the R&D which they are intitled but sell the drugs at a fraction of a cost abroad. IMHO, this should be illegal. Enough of my rant...

Dzone, go back and look up the bills that McCain voted against that contained provisions for healthcare for children or vets. I believe you will find someother things attached to the bill that McCain and others could not or would not vote for.
I can't give you any specifics on any of the bills, but all Congressmen and Senators do it if they feel it is not in the best interest of all parties involved.
As in any political election, voting records will be cherry picked to produce the negative result the opposition wants you to believe.
Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!

Take nothing I say as serious, What do I know, I sell water!!

EVERY politician is in bed with lobbyists or special interest groups but Ron Paul. McCain was good buddies with one of the Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae people. It's uncommon to not be tied to some group as they pad your $$$

What? I hate to admit but I made money shorting the financial stocks. Fannie And Freddie I wish I made more money on but I didn't hang on the short sell. from 70 to 50 and bailed. 6 months later at $1.

Re: Is Mccain in bed with Insurance Companies????

well, imho, the scary thing is the guy is not very smart, and really doesn't have alot of intellectual curiosity

                    he has mantra's

                    a. deregulate
                    b. competition
                    c. lower taxes

all of those are good, yet, u need to take things into context

on his health care plan, the only thing i know is he is TAXING ALL HEATLH CARE PLANS, which is like saying you no longer get a mortgage decuction on your taxes

he is the first one in history that is taxing health care benefits, now according to him if you tax something you get less of it, imho, his proposal is insane

i think he has a good heart, just wrong headed and listens to the wrong folks

look at how he is running his campaign, it's a mess, and palin is the best person for country first

he's like lot's of bullies when it comes too bizzness of bizzness, half-assed as hell, and it shows
