all you obama supporters that are apparently pro-more govt assistance, govt-run healthcare...
name for me one govt-run institution you think is being run well..besides the military (and even there the cost overruns are horrendous).
medicare--broke..this, folks, is govt-run healthcare. imagine medicare on a national scale.
medicaid--you get no services worth anything. no doctor wants medicaid patients. there is virtually no reimbursement for services.
social security--broke; every year payments get less and less. I, at age 38, will never see any social security check i am quite sure.
the fact is folks that you get what you pay for. and to pay for things you must work. this is a fact of life, sure as the sun rises and sets. the job of the government is to stay out of the way of the most productive workforce this planet has ever seen. the american worker is the best on the planet and more govt involvement in working american's lives will only worsen situations. free market is the answer to every economic crisis. the banks and lending institutions that made bad deals, IMO, should have been allowed to go under. you can bet that within 2 weeks, more institutions would have been lined up to take their place and take credit and mortgage applications from those of us who get up in the morning and GO TO WORK!!!
the government produces nothing. it only consumes.
