love it or leave it...I for one assume that MY country has benevolent reasons for doing most things. I do not ASSUME the USA is the bad guy in most circumstances and that places like iraq, afghanistan, and iran are full of "freedom fighters" defending their homeland from the "capitalist invaders". Sheesh, dude, why dont you get a job at MSNBC or the new york times?
trip,
congress declared war. your boy biden voted for it, hillary voted to authorize use of force. get over it, it was the right thing to do. barry wouldve prob voted "present".
saddam violated countless UN resolutions, averaged like 20 missile attacks a day on our planes patrolling the northern and southern "no-fly" zones--clearly an act of war if you ask me, dodged and played games with the UN's inspectors--crap, Bush at the end there, even gave saddam like 72 hours to come clean or face invasion and saddam still was an idiot. he needed to be taken out.
the world needs to either stop complaining when we take care of the UN's business and do the right thing, or the world needs to get angry at the UN and make them pony up and back up whatever resolutions they pass.
again, you demonstrate signs of "bush derangement syndrome"..

hey stray,
Ill voice my opinion ANYWAY ANYTIME i want to buddy. you dont know me, for all you know I could have LOST A LEG in the first desert storm. I may have lost many friends in combat. YOU DONT KNOW who I am. I am always careful not to sling crap like you did. you need to grow up.
YOU GET YOUR FACTS straight buddy.
the premise was weapons of mass destruction, the reports showed nada nothing
at that point, economic sanctions, so he paid for 12 years of violations were appropriate
no one disagreed with any of those things
bush just showed he knows zip about war, russia lost in afgan cause we waged charlie wilson war, we sent guns and money
we lost in vietnam because russian and china sent money and guns
now, what did u folks think would happen when we invaded iraq, oh yeah, be lavished and praised as liberators
of course, u still would like a warrant if they want too search your house, or can they just declare, shyte we don't like you so we'll invade your home
my all time favorite though, is pre-iminient war, that means, since there are guns, and you have access too guns, we can kill you because you might one day own a gun and want too use
ya know, other people in other countries are not idiots, they do have running water and electricy, and oh yeah, guns and money, and hate too, that is universal

The President used bad intelligence and KNOWINGLY to get support for the war. It was a hail mary pass in the 4th quarter with 2 seconds to go and it was a touch down, it worked, to get us in, but it was later found out that the inteligence which was THE SOLE SINGLE reason that pushed government supoort was indeed a lie.
Thomas Jefferson - "When the government fears the people there is liberty; when the people fear the government there is tyranny."
