Biden has stated that raising taxes is patriotic! What next? The Dems have already stated that they don't plan on doing anything to help with the Wall Street mess until after Jan. of next year. With that attitude, no one will have any money left to pay taxes! This re-distribution of wealth is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. We ended the welfare state years ago and are in this mess now because the Dems wanted every one to "own" a home even if they couldn't afford it. Bad loans to those that knew they could not make the payments put the whole country at risk. Now those very same people are expecting the honest, hard working, tax payers to bail them out and help make their mortage payments. I suggest that we all send our mortage, car payments and credit card bills to Congress and let them pay the bills for us! Charlie Rangel would be the one to help us out, he knows how to get around the law when it comes to paying bills. I would love to have my mortage paid for, but being of sound mind, I knew when I purchased my home, it would take 30 years and be up to me to make the payment each month and not look for a hand out from the government. I chose a house I could afford and was damn proud of it.

The question is, can terrorism be stopped? I don't think it can be. Sitting down and talking to the enemy certainly won't stop it. We have to remain a strong country and be able to fight, if need be.

what to do, what to do....lets see...tax the working class and you continue to hurt the very people that make this country work...tax the upper tier/corporate and
a) they move MORE jobs out of the country
b) they pass along those increases to us, the consumer..

this doesnt negate the fact that many civilians have been killed since..and EVERYBODY knows that iraq had nothing to do with 9/11...
