what no one ever talks about is why iran is so skeptical of us, for 30 years at every iranian dinner table what do they talk about............

In 1978 we tried to overthrow and almost did the Iranian Government.

Do you really think as a society they are over that yet?

Heck we still debate with gusto the vietnam war?

We will talk with passion about 9-11 for a hundred years?

Note, why do I say a hundred, what discussions do we have about WW-I? none nada

Yet, on occasion though rarely we still talk about WW-II.

Finally finally finally, when we could do no more militarily. We opened communications with Iran, why why why?

It's not cause of auk-dude, we're trying to send a message to the 70% of iranians who are moderate we are here too talk, not kill. It will take of decade of sitting at the table just bullshyting before anything of any significance is done. Yet, what it does is give moderate Iranians power to say no too Auck's visions of armageddon.

On a side note: Please name me one country in the last 100 years who benefited from starting a war, please just one, tell me what they gained and how they benefitted.

I have one, what is yours?

they didn't like it in 53, and fought it for 3 decades until they finally gained enough sentiment too throw us out, which they were doing

do solve most of your problems in life by forcing people to do what u want first, or discussing them and coming to an agreeable resolution first

what works for two people works for 2 million or 2 billion

Having a sit down and discussion with someone that has a per say hidden adgenda won't work. Like with most Middle Eastern Countries they only understand one thing- Dictatorship and an iron fist is what it will take to remove the problem in thier leadershhip so that the rank and file will get to see the real Democracy and how it works. When we continue to have countries that turn thier nose up at UN santions, someone will have to have the nuts to hold them accountable, unfortuantely that is us. This is the only way the UN can ever be effective, othwise we need to disslove it completely.

what i hear u say is that the family in other countries are differnt from our own families

every living breathing human wants the same thing, no matter where they live

the luck of the draw is like real estate location location location

evnironment creates value systems, for what u value, yet what folks value for there families is universal

ur premise is based on what i'm hearing u say u want immediate results, talking between countries takes decades, decades, decades

the time too plant a tree is 25 years ago, and today

did you guys know that almost 86% of the population of iran is less than 35 years old? did you know that the majority of the under 35 group is PRO-WEST???

the statements by ademinijhad (sp, i don't care) are nothing more than political moves to gain favor with the fundamentalists in the middle east. he has no power in iran.

we had all better hope that diplomacy is used first. which it will, because the mccan/palin maroon train is coming to a stop in november and we will have a president who will at least attempt to engage through diplomacy.

we CANNOT AFFORD expanding the war in the middle east. you think american families are struggling with high energy costs now? escalating the conflict in the middle east will bankrupt more US families and our economy will fall further behind the rest of the world.

one more time, short the dollar go long commodities during war times

from 20 dollars a barrell to 150 a barrel, i saw zero lines because gasoline was scarce, heck, we just destoryed another 30 oil platforms wit gustov and oil went down down down

now it is going back up, about the only thing u can trust right now if you got billions is that oil demand will go up up up in the nesxt decade

now we don't know if the dollar will go too zero, yet, u can bet with another war, it's got a damned good chance
