im not going to debate religion because i dont like where it always ends up..but i just wanted to say that personal strength and the strength you get from your children have nothing to do with god...
why cant people see that the inner strenght they get comes from themselves?
i would like to ask a serious question...asnd the example im going to use i will only use because its one we are all familiar with...
the people that were killed in the wtc on 9/11..do you think they werent praying god while the building was still standing?...and the buildings still crumble...why? where was your god?..why didnt he save those people..why does he let babies die? and the answer that people are being tested is a crock..one person loses a life to test another?...it seems to me that if there is a god he is a vindictive, and cruel god...i know in my heart of hearts that there is no god..but if there were a one almighty god..he is not one i would follow...and some will say that it is satan doing the bad....well if that were the case then your god needs to step in and show some cojones...
i hope i didnt offend anybody...that is not my intention...

naaa...i dont get offended easily (you should know....you try enough, lol), but i just dont buy into where you went with this...i dont believe god would step in and do shyt when those building were coming down (and i'm right...he didnt). thats not his gig bro...he aint gotta do shyt but hang back and watch. he's not "vindictive" either bro, or your goofy ass would be toast already. i believe he/she, whatever, will help you reach down to draw the strength you have within...he's a driving force. some people may "do it" for mom...maybe "do it" for their kids, and some "do it" for god...but he's just not gonna "do it". if the only proof you'll except is something tangible, then you'll just be a non believer, and thats fine by me. (you'll still be court jester at the end, lol). thats within your free will....(your god givin free will. you should remember to thank him for that, and for not holding it against you....i'm just saying.....it'd be polite).

I believe in God and I wouldn't push anyone that doesnt, to believe. You say you know in your heart that there is no God, well in my heart there is. I also believe that people have created the evil that evolves around the world. When I have gone through hard times, I don't question my faith, I just stay strong and move on one day at a time.

some one has too have a chart or something, after a half million years, someone should of got this one figured out

naaa...we dont buy into all that. it's not a cult bro, jeez. it's un-organized, organized religion loosley based on many different religions and none all at the sametime....we dont take donations, we dont have organized sermons or gatherings, we dont really judge others, we dont really believe the bible is HARD FACT, but more of a genearal guideline of how we should treat others. we dont sing, we dont dance, we dont shoot guns in the air and make funky, shouting noises that are annoying. we dont convert anyone, we just kinda say "their in"...most dont even know their in!!! it's only the "upper echleon" that know their in....concider yourself blessed...or not, your decission. (no worry's)

Right Views means to keep ourselves free from prejudice, superstition and delusion... and to see aright the true nature of life.


Right Thoughts means to turn away from the hypocrisies of this world and to direct our minds toward Truth and Positive Attitudes and Action.


Right Speech means to refrain from pointless and harmful talk... to speak kindly and courteously to all.


Right Conduct means to see that our deeds are peaceable, benevolent, compassionate and pure... and to live the Teachings daily.


Right Livelihood means to earn our living in such a way as to entail no evil consequences. To seek that employment to which can give our complete enthusiasm and devotion.


Right Effort means to direct our efforts continually to the overcoming of ignorance and craving desires.


Right Mindfulness means to cherish good and pure thoughts, for all that we say and do arises from our thoughts.


Right Meditation means to concentrate on the Oneness of all life and the Buddhahood that exists within all beings.



this my friend is what I try to live by. i dont always succeed but i feel so much better about my life and that of others believing there is no hell.

the Christian Bible condemns me to eternal hell because i dont believe that the "son of God" died on a cross for my sins. regardless of how well i live my life.

that as well as many other reasons is what pushed me away from Christianity after 20 years of devout faith.

i still have respect for people of the Christian faith i just feel that the Bible is a book of metaphor written by falible men and is not a book that is to be taken literally but may be a good guide.

1. The axiom: Reality is independent and objective of man, i.e. he cannot change reality with prayer, wishes, magical spells, feelings, etc.

2. Man is rational and reasoning is the only way of obtaining knowledge.

3. Acknowledge that everyone acts in their own self-interest. Now act in your rational self-interest.

4. Reject the initiation of all brute force applied to others and yourself, i.e. a mob (even government) should not have any more rights to infringe your liberty than another individual.
