Whats it run? I love my LS-1 I have an 02 Z-28 with some bolt ons an SS ram air hood and box it runs in the 12s and still knocks down 26mpg on the interstate.
best i ran was a 13.0 before the converter swap and not to mention 2.1 60' times really killed it. Got nitto's too but i usually go when its really cold out 50* or less which makes thoes tires hard as hell and dont grip for anything even with a good smoky burn out. Going to try and go with some warmer weather 65*-75* as i seem to hook it hard on the street in thoes temps which isnt too hot to kill the times much.

nittos are fine,plenty of guys runnin 10's 11's on them. Also there is nothing else out there that you can run on the street and track and still be safe in the rain. Sure the mickey thomsons are good or the bfg's but i would like to see you dive them on the highway when its raining. If others can do 10's on them with 1.4-1.5 60' times i should shouldnt have a problem at my power level, though these tires dont stick for anything if its 40* out which is when i usually go. Going to hit it with the temps 65* or so

i ran high 7s in the 1/8th before the cam with the same small shot to getme out of the hole. on stock sized street tires i am still getting a 2.0X 60ft time. (NOT BAD FOR A WHEEL HOPPING IRS CAR THAT WEIGHS 4000#) never run the 1/4. as soon as i get my clutch bled out and the oil in the tranny and rear end changed i will take it to the track. i dont expect a big diff until it cools down i have a stock IAT and heatsoak is a prob
i like it. i will try to post a sound clip of the cam idle, sounds OK for a moderate cam
