I've read some of the same things that deno is explaining from some mulsim fathers over there. They said that "honor killings' are common, and done if and when needed. Without remorse or reguard. They commit this horrific murder of their own blood with happiness and pride, just as this man did in this article. It is a common occurance if a female 'disobeys' her family and religion by even befriending outside of their race and/or religion. Am I wrong? or is that how it is?

Another thing that gets me, is how all the shyt gets by under the name of religion. It's horseshyt! We got some sik old fuker over in New Mexico claiming that it's his religious right to lay with young naked teen virgins in his bed and touch them. He claims that G-od told him virgins would come to lay in bed with him. He looks about 50yrs old. He wears a head-wrap bonnet looking thing. He looks American but who gives a shyt what he is. He's fuked up. These polygamist have been getting away with rape, knocking up 12 & 13yr old girls for g-od knows how long under the pretense of religion. It's bullshyt. It's all bullshyt. That's one of the many reasons I'm so against organized religion. Religion is messed up, and countries that are based solely on religion and break their religious duties on a regular basis by acts of pure evil and hatred need the wrath. And everybody's afraid to give it out and start solving the problem. And a major problem it is. It effects others. Those same religious beliefs that this thread is talking about, 'honor killings'..What do you think came down on us September 11, 2001? Should we not worry about what's going on in other countries so much? The underground diamond trade out of Africa stretches across continents. Many people get hurt/killed in that trade. They deal with the all religious fight for Alah. This is something that must be delt with. It's never going to be pretty. But it sure is looking better in some places and aspects.

I know that those people are wrong. and yeah, we have our wrongs, but when people start training mass murderers at the tender age of 5, some intervention must happen because the world keeps getting smaller. Weapons keep getting smarter. I'd like to know that a decent mentality has been set in motion. Somebody's gotta do it.

i hate to think that you guys may think im defending these guys and their actions because im not..im just saying there are cultural differences...of course that doesnt mean to accept them because i certainly dont..but im saying..look at our history in the US..80 years ago woman in the states were a second class citizen...theres been alot of progress made..all we can hope for is that these people can make the same progress..and they have in some ways...you can now see women wearing khaki pants and regular shirts and the like..not haveing to cover their faces anymore..the younger generation of women are making changes there that the older women wouldnt have dreamed possible...all in due time...

The major turns of our great America. The revolutionary progressions were the result of war. Our fore fathers as mentioned earlier were able to set the values they based this country on as a result of war. It was sometimes the reason for war. The wars thru time are what set great changes that this country is based on. It sucks, but sometimes you just can't get thru to a dictatorship with intellectual communication or political deals like were offered over decades. It's difficult to get someone to loosen a strong hold on their people when they have such great benefits from it. They don't like to imagine the equality.

I think you have taken a tid bit of information and linked that to an entire war. War is quite complex and multi-faceted. While the basis of this thread's focus is on 'religious morals', that doesn't make it okay to wade into a country solely on that basis alone. Though a very important and damaging facet of war religion has become, and in the name of religion, the most damage has occured right here on our very on soil to many innocent victims, we can't just start picking countries off over that. There's allot more to it. And just because someone lives by a different religion and culture than you do, that doesn't justify war. Look at America for heavens sake. You can find every mix of religion and culture on any given street corner living in harmony. It can be done without killing. But as I stated earlier; with the times we're in now. The world has gotten much smaller. The weapons much smarter. Ideas can travel from one side of the world to another in seconds. You can sit back and wait for the extreme ideas that do not, and will not, tollerate your idea of life to come and intervene. And intervene they do. Or you can let folks that understand these threats well, take care of it for you, and do their best to keep it off of your front porch.

I want peace as bad, if not more, than the next guy. But there are, and have been, people that want what they know as peace, all over the world. Starting with our 'most messed up and satanic way of democracy" first. They won't stop fighting for what they believe in. I pray our great nation will out last. The ideology of true freedom is getting thru.
