Those are some sick bastards. I can't eat crab without feeling a tad bit guilty about what those guys go through for a few weeks. Then I think about how much money they make, and I feel a little better. I still wouldn't do it. Not even for one season.

Yeah, thats what I always thought, but I guess the more Im hearing, they arent just on the boat during the crab season, yeah they can make 100k in 6 weeks fishing for crab, but 99% of the guys on the boat are guys that are on the boat 9 months a year fishing for other stuff...Originally posted by Merc View Post

from what I was hearing, they average around 100k a year... not worth it to me for that kind of lifestyle
